Good Man stick. Even though I saw her win lto i don't think I would have backed her without ya getting Word. Top stuff.
The Newmarket fiddlers are out in force - Hillstar drifting like the proverbial, will likely trail in 4th
6.05 Ripon Alaskan Bullet 10/1 (saver on Six Wives 8/1) Brian Ellison's Alaskan Bullet looks a very interesting contender in this who makes his first start on turf for his Yorkshire based trainer and who I think is on a good mark. Formerly with Michael Bell, he wasn't beaten very far off a mark of 92 at York last year and has been confined to the AW since joining Brian Ellison (6 starts). Two starts back Alaskan Bullet ran an absolute blinder when 7lb out of the handicap off an effective mark of 86 when well backed and an unlucky loser at Lingfield back in January when he was beaten less than a length when hampered at a crucial stage. He did disappoint 9 days later off a mark of 77 over 5f at Wolves but that was his 3rd run inside 3 weeks and he may have found that race one too many. He's been given a 77 day break and this Class 4 represents a much easier assignment then the Class 2 where he was unlucky a couple of starts ago and this mark of 80 looks well within his sphere of ability judged on his excellent run two starts back. Connor Beasley is an eye catching booking and takes a handy 5lb off in this apprentice handicap and he's very well drawn in stall 13. Moreover, he is sure to get a very good tow into the race from the fast front running Six Wives in stall 15 and with Brian Ellison in great form I think he can run a big race. I'd definitely advise a saver on Scott Dixon's Six Wives who has her first start on turf since last October but is a full 9lb lower than she was that day. 3lb below her last winning mark on turf, she's ran a couple of nice races on her last two starts on the AW and I definitely think she's on a very workable mark of 71. Adam McClean looks very good value for his 5lb claim and she looks to have an ideal birth for her front running style up against the rail in stall 15. Scott Dixon is in good form at present and I think she could prove a difficult horse to pass and well worth a small bet.
Satisfied with Toronado and its reappearance. He looks every inch a middle distance colt to me- he has filled out beautifully into that powerful frame. Proper galloper but he possesses speed too- I think he will stay the trip at Epsom. I'm not getting overly carried away from a form perspective because I am not entirely sure how good Dundonnell is yet, but Toronado has done that hands and heels and looked very strong at the end of the mile. Hopefully he goes to Epsom fit and well on the back of a very good Guineas run.
no no no no no no what the ****? had 5 horses today and hit Greatwood e/w, Tickled Pink (pre pricewise) and Toronado and have ended the day down ffs. noooooooo. apologies, won't be touching a Stoute horse for a while, that one is one of their best they reckon. nice call Stick Anyone hit the Hills horse in the Wood Ditton?? Completely missed it but he's the man in form, if in doubt just back him.
Pops in....chucks up a 16-1 winner for his old muckers, gratis........then ****s off again.....enjoy LOL TAKE THAT TO THE BANK OF YOUR CHOOSING Good luck to you all
Oddy mate - you have a very jaundiced view of the sport Or just Newmarket? My free bet returned to source untouched, and last at Chelts looks iffy ..... Velator is it?
George to be fair that was absolute ****e from someone with Ryan Moore's ability. WTF was he doing A - letting Probert pinch the race B - Going for a run where Probert is just going to hold him in ridiculous race riding and I have no doubt the best horse was second today and was conceding 6lbs to the winner. Saying all that mind he didn't look anywhere near a Derby class horse.
Alaskan Bullet was a big eye catcher there. Met trouble in running before staying on strongly late. Will be particularly keen if upped to 6f under a pro jockey. Six Wilves ran a great race in 3rd.
Aye RV Probert stole it imagine Moore didn't think he would stay or as Oddy suggests maybe he didn't actually want to win. Might be something to do with yard fitness as well, Duke of Firenze was poor at the weekend. I have one from the same yard for tomorrow LOL gonna leave it I think. Just watching the racing now, **** me Greatwood ahead 1 stride after the line to cost me a 150/1 double with Tickled Pink who finally fulfilled her promise. I think I posted her on here ages ago, SHC had said she was the best 3yo in his yard but she had a series of problems. Toronado imperious, won as I thought he would. New owner as well! Remains to be seen if he's actually beaten much though.
George. - are you MWCats in a different guise? He used to fall foul of the odd Stoute good thing as well. You live to fight another day though big man.
Evening guys......and RV ;-) Surely SMALIB MONTERG is begging to be backed EW in the 6.55 Wolves 13/2 and looks nailed on for a place at the very worst!
