I like who ever Joe likes he has been smashing it , what's your views on tomorrow , nass and rainbowview you both leaving us all behind , I keep being undone by the draw

Going right out on a limb here. I think Mekong at 33-1 might be able to stagger into a place in the Gold Cup. It's his first try at the distance and with Covid disrupting training of all runners, the extra year under his belt will hopefully help him steal some prize money.

Morning

Taking two in the 1.15

Hypothetical @ 5-1 & Acquitted @ 5-1

1pt on both

In the Britannia Stakes Starcat looks interesting for each way purposes. Won very well at Kempton last year and another good performance in the Guineas (7th). Hughie Morrison holds Starcat in high regard so at 12/1 worth a bet.

We’ve seen a couple of Ballydoyle favourites undercooked for their seasonal debuts. Nothing wrong with the stable form generally though, so I’m going with Sir Dragonet to defy that trend. Not with any great confidence, because he’s on a rescue mission anyway after disappointing a bit list season. Price isn’t great either, in fact I’m close to talking myself out of it (except I’ve already backed him).

King Leonidas is my other bet for today, impressive at Newmarket recently and if he doesn’t bounce, he’ll be hard to beat today. Again, not a great price and plenty of dangers, so I won’t be on for much.

Stradivarius should be odds on but he’s 2.02 on Betfair. So I’ll have to back him as well I suppose.

I fancied Starcat as well but ended up with the fav so you could be in luck <cheers>

Excuse my ignorance, but who the heck is 'Joe'?

a few years ago when Benoit blanc first started posting he was known as Joe he started with a right bang with a flurry of winners even had his own thread
I didn't have a online betting account in those days so had to race down the bookies and put the bet on as he was on fire at first remember doing it with sticks as well in fact there has been some excellent tipsters on here

There was top class , rainbow view , Joe , nass , stick , oddy and a few more I can't recall this site is a credit to Ron I always have been an avid reader and paid close attention to the tips on here thought after years of watching I would join

ITV Racing morning show reckon the draw will be less advantagious today with the softening of the ground.
