Slow day on the thread today ? I’m off. To Beverley today for what looks meager racing ... but there’s a winner to be found for every race . Looks like a favs day to me .... wahooooooo

Think favourites did well yesterday at Beverley. I've always been told to stick with the low stalls as it really makes a difference there.

Sod it, had a very quick glance at the card at Bev, here's some against the fav's in the race...

2:00 - Ginvincible, 13/2
3:00 - Lean On Pete, 6/1
3:30 - Bondi Beach Boy, 8/1
4:30 - Straight Ash, 10/1
5:00 - Make On Madam, 11/1

Not having a bet but will be watching all the same...<cheers>
 
What does everyone think about Elarqam today in the Sovereign Stakes Group 3 event. Gonna romp it? Not having a bet myself but would be good to see him come back.

well,he is a classy performer,no doubt about it,but there are some good horses in it.ZONDERLAND is a horse,ive always liked a lot,and if all is well today,wont be too far away here..

none of these look really solid betting propositions,to be honest,but the 4th place of PESCI behind the rapidly improving victory command last time out,looks easily the best piece of form in this race,so if able to progress a notch or two,should go well..

wide open and very competitive. ICARIO,though,is at least less exposed than most here,and showed a good bit more last time out,so surely in with a decent chance..

Only 4th...what now for Elarqam I wonder. Bearing in mind Johnston was reported as saying he would be disappointed if the horse finishes 2nd. .must be major disappointment so what next?
