Good luck with SQUIRE today Stick, have my win bet on at 5's. Have even gone in on the 11/10 to place in first 3 along with my fancy GILMAR 5/6.

4.15 Chep GILMAR 3/1. Has won 4 out of last 5 races and with this jockey on board again today has won his last 3 here at Chepstow. Seems to have won well on all these occasions and today should be no different. The way this one travels should be an exceptional ride for, let me think, Spencer.

Firstly, COME ON SQUIRE !!! Best of luck to you, Stick

    Now, on to today's selections.
I'm drawn to Last Star Falling, 2.20 at Leicester. Dropping into selling company, has SDS on after the "enforced holiday", sounds good.

Mr Bradley has a big turnout at Chepstow, though few are likely winners I'd suspect. ( and no Nortonizer )
I think Indian Affair could be the best chance (4.15); that sees me in opposition to Grecian Mick, but I think given it's 12lb better off than Gilmer and has a much better drawer today I'm going to go in; I may be letting heart rule head, but that's not a bad thing really.
I'd also love to see Luke Morris get Jazri home (5.25) . Let's see.

Whilst I am letting my usual sense of reason have a break and betting "from the gut", how about a go at Sennockian Star in the 8.40 over at Donny this evening?

A win from one of those would be nice.

    Good Luck all.

8pm Leopardstown. PORTAGE 6-4. Clearly short enough but this horse is class and for James Doyle to travel all the way from Leicester after his 3 rides this afternoon just for this says all you need to know. Putting in a double with the most in form sportsperson on Earth at the moment (Dustin Johnson).

Re Tour de France - is it true Froome finished without a bike? Must be a DNF?

Good luck later with the squire stick .
As I was looking for the race in question (and it had to be the last as I started with the first ) I have picked them all apart and rearranged them fingers crossed cracker style . Probably won't though as it is a little early in the season for that so be warned.

As the crowds closed in up the narrow mountain road one of the camera motorbikes, which was just in front of Ricky Porte and Chris Froome, suddenly braked and Porte ran straight into him. Froome was directly behind and ran into Porte. Porte could carry on but Froomes bike was u/s so he set off running up the hill whilst waiting for a replacement bike. He took a "neutral" reserve bike but was getting nowhere fast and switched back to his own bike after the team had repaired it. Cost Froome the yellow jersey and about 2 minutes in the GC. Silly ****ing stupid bastard fans (again). Brainless twats, really.

The race stewards have intervened and awarded Froome and Porte the same time as Bauke Mollema, who was involved in the same accident but was able to carry on unimpeded. So Froome stays in yellow. Good so.

You just need to "x" away the 2 pop-up ads Ron. Have a wee practice before the race starts.
