    I've already mentioned Jordans tomorrow...

Can I throw one in at a humungous price tomorrow.. GALOP DE CHASE in the Kim Muir... 130/1 on Betfair, but there is some logic. 2 years ago Venetia Williams and Lucy Turner combined with Chambard to win this at 40/1. Until then it ran it had been running below 3 miles, mainly over 2m4 (though once at 2m7 and one bad attempt on heavy over 3m2..)

So why bet it... end November last season Kandoo Kid now rated 153 gave it 3 pounds and couldnt go past it after jumping alongside at the last at Newbury over 2m 4 on decent ground. This season 2 good runs left handed, 2 crap runs right handed. Never raced beyond 2 mile 4... but put into this with a dropping handicap mark of 130 and Lucy Turner aboard.

Massive step up in trip of course...

    Worth a £1...?

Langer Dan, Cheltenham , March ! What could go wrong ? Seriously though, I think he'll love this trip and we know how much he loves this place and this time of year. Another Skelton coup in the offing

Now that Langer Dan doesn’t go in the Stayers I’m hoping Nemean Lion steps up. I love this little horse who’s always gives his best. I thought Cheltenham was off the cards and NL was being saved for Aintree after his win lto. He may not be quite up to this but unlike the Skelton nag he’ll always be trying. Good luck all.

Well first 2 days have been a disaster for me but i always tend to bounce back on day 3.

1.20: Galileo Dame - Solid grade 1 form in the bag, wouldn't be out of place in tomorrows race (L15)
2.00: Firefox - Another genuine grade 1 horse, could be a blot here. No surprise to see the support (L15)
2.40: Feet of a Dancer - Stable won this a few years back, drop in trip looks ideal (L15)
3.20: Fact to File - massive fan of the horse, maybe needs another year on his back to go for the big 1 but looks speedy enough for this. (L15)
4.00: Rocky's Diamond - I quite liked The Wallpark with the drying ground but price has gone. Unexposed improver who got 3 in the Savills, happy to take a chance at a price
4.40: Path D'oroux - Consistent and loves cheltenham. The step to 3m could see more improvemet
5.20: Git Maker - Ran into a handicap blot last year and only 1lb higher.

Many of those I fancied for the Pertemps have ended up not running but one I quite like at huge odds is Henry Daly's Supreme Gift 80/1 e/w. He qualified by winning the Market Rasen qualifier and is just 1lb higher for today's race. His record on the new course reads 43, with the 3rd a fine effort when conceding weight to Zain Nights and Harbour Lake (3 miles, good). He has an 8lbs pull with Zain Nights and 9lbs with Harbour Lake and could easily outrun his massive odds. I also think American Sniper will go well right at the bottom of the weights.

    13:05 Hexham - Am Still Here e/w

Class-5 Novices' Limited Handicap Hurdel over an extended 2m on good-to-soft ground.

Pretty apt choice today after woeful attempts to find a winner at Cheltenham.

Kingston Hill gelding has a decent chance to gain a podium finish in this affair. Wears cheek-pieces for first time. Sean Quinlan rodes fpr the Nicky Richards yard.

9/2 best price in many places on the ATR site, at time of writing.

I did ok yesterday after hitting Jazzy Matty and Jimmy Du Seuil so happy days... Let's see where these darts fall today...

1:20 - Sixandahalf, Aurora Vega, Hollygrove Cha Cha
    2:00 - Moon D'Orange, Lord of Thunder
2:40 - Feet of a Dancer, Win Some Lose Some, Bugise Seagull
3:20 - Fact to File, Heartwood
4:00 - The Wallpark, Home By The Lee
4:40 - Jagwar, La Malmason, Gemirande
5:20 - Mint Boy, Git Maker, Wiseguy

Most of them done ap, but all in singles. Done a few combo's today as well as topping up on a few singles.

The Wallpark and Mint Boy would make my day from an a/post betting point of view, Aurora Vega, Feet of a Dancer and Git maker my bigger single bets today...

As always, good luck to all of your selections, may they all return safe and sound...<cheers> <ok>

As the late great Alastair Down once remarked, Henry Daly never takes them to the festival for a social run. He may find a few better handicapped but the odds dont reflect his chances. I’ve given up with the Sniper however. :emoticon-0148-yes:

2nd at 5/1 SP. That's a bit better! Ran a good race and up there with a chance all the way, but no chance with Dickens, a comfortable winner.

Lovely to see Caldwell Potter do that after all the stick the horse has had. He doesn't know how much he cost and it was a great ride from the front by Harry Cobden.
