Anglia Ruskin - clearly a made up University. Mr Dettori is to science what Barney is to the communist movement. What a joke!
I think the villagers should light their torches grab their pitchforks and evict Sir Barney from Chuckle Towers...I'm sure his old mate Dave will rehouse him!!
have a great one mate, see you when you get back ? make the effort to get up before xmas coz when the ice comes we shut down for 3 months !!!!!!!!
Don: Enjoy mate, hope the Welsh annialate the Frogs and then win the Final One of the lads in the HQ (who never bets) has £5EW at 125/1 on Wales at 1/2 the odds first 2, so i hope they do it for him. Yes he is Welsh
Just the one bet for me today and one to watch for the future who i may back if it goes off at 25s or higher: 510 Uttox: Endeavour looked unlucky when BD racing for the hat-trick LTO so must be worth the chance today. 240 Uttox: Polarbrook is a typical Kim Bailey type, he knows this family well and is successful with them so i am watching the market closely! Be Lucky all
2.45 Punchestown: Steps To Freedom 6/4- I make no secret of the fact I like this horse a huge amount and I have it down as top of the Supreme Novice hurdle candidates at this moment in time. I would have to revise such an idea if it doesn't win today. Really impressed with it on hurdle debut, beating Leceile with ease, who has since gone on to win almost on the bridle. STF won a very hot bumper at Aintree last season and if continuing to jump well must continue its progress towards the top table. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not visually impressive, but as the only novice in the race, he was clearly a class above. If he gets over the greeness he's a serious player this season. Would have been better suited with a quicker pace, he was defnitely the stronger of them when it quickened up.
4.30 Brighton Noverton 40/1 If repeating her exploits on her 2nd start on soft ground at Salisbury, a track that doesn't' really throw up false form, when 0.75L behind Mundana then she could be absolutely thrown in here off a mark of 68. Mundana looks to be a horse with a very nice future, winning her 2 subsequent starts including off a mark of 87 and she is now rated 90. Further to this, the 3rd Totheendoftheearth, 2L behind Noverton, has won off 72, finished 0.5L 2nd off a mark of 75 and is now rated 80. After this, Noverton ran an ok race when sent of favourite NTO finishing 4L back in a race with ok form with his latest two efforts being disappointing. Although she could be inclined to run an absolute shocker here, I am certainly willing to have a play on this unexposed filly at massive odds which is trainer James Eustace and Stevie Donohue only flat action of the day.
Got one today.. already been backed and wasn't able to give you the early price either way... 6:20 Kempton - Whatsofunny !
Just a couple I'm interested in seeing today in the UK, mainly Miss Kalifa 14/1 e.w in the 3.40 at Uttoxeter. Looked to be travelling really nicely on debut despite being keen early, and was brought down when looking menacing in 3rd. Ran in a hot maiden (won by Jan Vermeer) on sole Irish flat start and I think has a decent enough engine to make a good handicapper eventually. That said, I think it can make a mark in maiden company and this race sets a fair standard of around 110, so we'll find out more about the horse today. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2nd, looked a bit short of room coming to 2 out, good performance though for an e/w return.
