Andrew McNamara is to retire this weekend also at 32. He will take up training instead. The decision is not marked by his brother Robbie and cousin JT's recent paralysis but due to a back problem and his battle to make weight. I wish him all the best, he should do well in time.

Just realised o briens was withdrawn in the first, here's me sending a strongly worded txt to my mate!

Gwaaaannn the Beef! Don't think Andrew rode many better races than this one :)

I'd say you were on at 11/4 were ya...that was some comeback wasn't it, looked dead and buried and stayed on all day long. He gives that particular race a mention as a favourite in his piece with the Irish Racing. Com

Dustin Johnson - I know its early days but this guy is too good not to win a major. Top of the leader board yet again!

Very pleased to see Matt Chapman just name Tommo's ridiculous attempts at making a clear cut finish appear a nail biter. Tommo shouts out five across the track, that's one for the judge in a five way photo. Whilst Chappers quite knowingly explains to viewers that is most certainly isn't a photo as Valmina has just won a neck.

Agreed! Typical Thommo having heart attack commentary !!

Gutted by poor riding by Richard Kingscote tonight on two Beckett horses - to my eye both should have won if he had organised them better and been stronger in the finish. On the second Poyle Jessica he did my pet hate of whip twizzling, hit the horse messed around with his whip and the reins whilst his opponent is driving only to hit again from the same hand and then change hands for good luck. Very Poor all in well into the last furlong.

Aurelia Cotta won again...won easy last night and defies a 5lb. penalty in a tougher looking race this evening! Young Eddie Linehan's 2nd winner, at only 23. Noel O'Brien will not be a happy bunny.

yeah not sure what happened there soba, will prob find out off me mate, sorry we couldnt land your double for you chief
