Evening, all. Last chunter for a while - going out of circulation for probably a couple of months. If Barney's right about Berkshire - and I wouldn't dispute it - then IHTIMAL's run behind him in the Chesham was a top drawer performance for a filly so early in the season. She was a four-length third, which I thought would probably have been more like two lengths if she hadn't been nearly stopped a furlong or so out. I make her something of a good thing for the May Hill at Donny tomorrow. I've no doubt she'll stay a mile and, though this may be just a trend rather than a rule, Shamardal 2yo fillies seem to improve for a bit of cut in the ground. The opposition looks like Group 3 trying their luck in Grade 2, while Ihtimal looks (to me) like Group One already. SbinS sounded bullish enough this afternoon, I don't think the draw's a worry, and all in all I'd suggest that 13-8 or better tomorrow would be worth taking. Even if she's not improved for it, the Sweet Solera form should win this comfortably. These low-risk odds against bets don't come round often: boot-filling time, I think.
