I think he would have been much closer for the battle and also the ground Red but credit to Fiorente who is a very good horse but Joshua Tree came the whole way up that side to take second so I think it might well be quicker.

Rattan should win the next at Dundalk. Mullins and Smullen usually equals an easy winner. 2/1

Afternoon all, a couple of niced priced ones from me that may go well later this afternoon, one at Newmarket and one at Doncaster.

In the 4.40 Newmarket Medici Time 12/1 EW is the only runner at Newmarket for the in form Tim Easterby yard, significantly Kieron Fallon is booked to take the ride for horse that has C&D winning form off a 3lb higher mark, albeit on Good to Firm, althouge does have winning form on Good to Soft.

Doncaster 5.25 Bartley 14/1 (EW) for the Bryan Smart stable is my selection showed signs in his last two races of running on over 6f and is stepped back up to 7f today and could go close at a nice EW price.

Magic Destiny hammered the field when last seen and has a small rise to contend with today. A lot of the serious competition has been withdrawn now probably due to the ground which is something that holds no fear for my pick. It's favourite at 15/8 so not a great price but i'm quite confident this will win.

The Godolphin winner looked the best from a long way out. That one could prove to be something. Notable that the market chose Frankie's mount though - is that because most people assume he gets first pick because that isn't the case any longer now is it and especially with Al Zarooni runners? Just something to look out for in future.

    See you Red.

Speculative bet on Crius in the next at Newmarket at 14/1.

Great record at Newmarket, will not mind the the soft ground and looks over priced at 14/1.

One more for tonight at Epsom

7.20 Battleoftraflagar 10/1 is more than capable of taking this off a very handy mark with loads in hand on the rest he should be there abouts in the final furlong.
