I used to love going to the May meeting at Chester in the early 90s. I was studying / working in Manchester and used to try and make it for at least one day every year. A unique course, beautiful city, great atmosphere and all-in-all a tremendous day out. Hope you have a great day <ok>

Andrew balding could be the trainer to follow at the moment.all his horses run well at Newmarket and he had a nice winner today in montaly, a horse I've followed in the past. I looked today and the racing post gave it no chance so I bottled it and went with the fave With two runners tomorrow both with a chance but what do I know.

Two I like in the concluding races at Tipperary in both bumpers are

Holycross Lito 7/2 - 20:10 and Bluemountain Boy 8/1 - 20:40

Too busy to add more right now but I would think they can go well in their respective races.

Hoping Finn Mccool runs big today and throws his hat into the Derby picture. They thought he was a weapon but not brought it to the track- hoping he will as a 3 YO as i have a derby ante post!

Poundland hill. Whatever next!

If old boy Jerry gets in next month then Royal Ascot will be renamed Ascot! And God’s own racecourse may even lose the Newton prefix – it being renamed in honour of his old ‘flame’ and Carol Vorderman’s natural successor, Diane.

But don’t go all posh now, Nassau. In ‘Brexit’ Britain our good pals the ‘pound shops’ are the only booming industry left!

A certain musical poetry in your post DK <ok>. I agree btw that Octave could hit the right note the morrow. Form is not bad and it's a questionable field running.
Yes he seems to have been pitched in at the right level but it is a sharp course.

Is it an omen. I thought I would look to see if stick's old mare Present Trend had any entries. She is in the 18.25 Carlisle, and she's back on good ground over 20f (the conditions of her win back in September). Only 5/1 and 7 runners so not an obvious ew bet. Still waiting for her to go chasing

The horse to take out of the first at Chester is the balding horse, gave the winner a five length lead and had to go round the houses to get involved. Good run.

I find it very strange listening to Aiden O'Brien being interviewed. I feel like he's being both honest and dishonest at the same time whilst never actually telling us anything but I also find him quite a likeable bloke
