I once bumped into Huddlestone in a shop in South Cave, the Mrs sat in the car waiting. He was wearing a jumper and jeans with holes in and a woolly hat. When I came out, she said ‘I think I’ve just seen a tramp stealing a very expensive car’ <laugh><laugh>. I said was he my height with a description of his clothes? She replied yes! I explained it was Huddlestone and it was definitely his expensive car <laugh><laugh>

We have had much better larkers than the team that played that day but not a better result. Koren seems to be underrated in the collective memory, but he was never outclassed when playing for us against anyone you care to mention.

Great to see Matthew Fryatt and George Boyd on the scoresheet too.

Dint we sign Shane Long and Jelavic a few weeks later and for once enjoy a non nerve shredding end to the PL season?

Great to see a full KCOM before the Allam sickness started to kick in.

Was there with a mate who seemed to be having an off day. Just before half time, he says "Mate, Iv'e had enough, we're not gonna score, I'm gonna get off". <laugh>

I talked him into staying <laugh>
