Threw away the points today with terrible defending from set pieces. Gordon, for all we rate him as a shot stopper, is simply not good enough when required to put his body on the line and come for the ball. Strikes me as a bit of a pussy to be honest.

Henderson was woeful, should have been taken off early in the 2nd half, bit of a balls upfromBruce there thought. The game was crying out for Zenden to come and put his foot on the ball and calm things down. I can see that from 17,000 kms away, so how Bruce didn't I will never know.

Hopefully Muntari is just short of match fitness, as he looked well behind the pace and even disinterested at times.

On the positives, Sessegnon again looked quality. A few times I noticed balls he played that were actually too good for the rest of the time. Awareness and passing ability is a level above the likes of Henderson and co. Thought it showed good tactical no use by Brucey to change up the team structure, which in my opinion will always be a positive. Kern played well again in the more advanced role, and the biggest plus of all, Gyan still has without a doubt the best goal celebration in the premiership.

Here's hoping we can bounce back.

thats the best game of netball i've ever seen but they play to their strengths which unfortunaly isn't nice to watch but hey, walcott has just scored and as i type its 2-0. agree about henderson mind we might as well have been playing with 10 men, good player but he needs a rest imo

Gordon was fouled for two of them, and he was diving to block the attempted header which the attacker missed and went in off his knee.

When no one was fouling him he took his catches cleanly.

I actually though Muntari did well today. Yes he looked short of fitness at times but his willingness to take the ball from our defence is something we havent had for a long time
