It should really be the "on a Cousin" ruling, I'm sure he was the first player to have a move blocked by it (he played for a French club at the start of the season, joined Rangers in August, then Fulham wanted him in January and would have completed the deal but FIFA said no). I'm not sure the "on a Cousin" ruling would be a good choice though, although as it's something that's forbidden it might educate the Lincolnshire folk about what's right and wrong.
