It is still going to be close but it's firmly in our hands now. I think we'll draw at Old Trafford, win against Spurs and Villa and draw/win against Everton.. Anyway if that happens then we'll get top 4... Great weekend this for us though!
Have you ever considered that Arsenal may not drop anymore points and Everton catch you?? The whole world hates a smug Spud pal........ learn from it.
Yep I have considered that everton could catch us...thats why I said they could be in the running for 4th...IF arsenal drop points! I dont think that we'll get 4th as it goes...we blew our chance when we lost to fulham imo... you should wind your neck in mate and read what I wrote...I didnt come on hear to wum I was just joining in a discussion
I've got to say, that I believe our game against your lot will be our easiest. We seem to play better against the teams that we know can hurt us (see, for example, our superb win against United at OT, and our taking apart of £ity in the last 15 minutes at the Lane). I reckon that will be the game where (given that you've lost against United) we end your hope of top 4, and we seal third. Being crowned "Tops Dogs of London" or "Daddies of the Capitol" is what will spur on (pun fully intended) our brave lads.
Who is arrogant? Would you expect us to say we will finish 5th. Yes I do think Liverpool will finish above Everton.
Good WUM. Only we've won our last 6 home games in the league and you've lost away to all the top 7 you've played bar United. Even if we lose our next 2. We are still not out of it. But expecting us to lose at United (with nothing to play for and a side that has only beaten us 1/4 this season and that once was thanks to the ref) is clutching at straws at best. Arsenal drawing with United today was the best thing that could happen for us. It's all ifs and buts but our chances of winning 3/4 games are better than yours of winning 4/4. When was the last time you kept a clean sheet?
Hm. I think that may be wishful thinking on your part. SAF will want to get as many points on the board as he can, so he won't be easing up. Also, he will not have been happy with his players that they so obviously let their partying infer with the quality of their play for most of the game against Arsenal, and he will be looking for a positive response. He certainly will not want to lose to CFC. I can very much see United giving it all they've got against you, and showing Coco (for whom he has zero respect) who is the Daddy. As for your game against us, I'd gladly take the draw, especially if it means we win our other three fixtures, as I can see Arsenal coming undone in at least one of their remain games.
Au contraire you septic dipstick, Fergie's boys cant overhaul Chelsea's points record now and their season is over a win against that sad shower will be easier than ripping you to shreds at the Bridge. Now run along little wum.
