Does anybody else think this is a formation that could work for us?

Caulker, Turner, and Hudson could work as the back three.

I see Theo as a wingback and perhaps we could try Whitts or Kim as they will get some protection from three DCs though Taylor would be fine.

Medel would still drop back from the midfield, Gunnar (maybe) would hold the middle of the park, and Mutch would push forward a little.

I would let PO roam up front and Corny would be the more of a target man. Maynard/FC could do well in this system as well.

Wonder what others think because I just don't think we are getting the best out of the team right now and it is a formation that gives strength all over the park..

Can't see Malky adopting this.

We currently seem to play 5 4 1.

Medel drops back among the centre backs and the other 4 midfielders would get a nose bleed if they ventured into the final third of the pitch. That's why Fraizer is so isolated.

Yeah we play with 3 centre halves really at the moment.

Also we have 2 full backs each side.<laugh>

More like 8 -1 - 1 -0.

A man protecting the 8 man defence and a spare man just in case.

This could be the dullest derby ever. We will keep 10 men in our half and they will pass between their keeper, back four and defensive midfielder while Fraizer chases the ball.

Then one of them will dive and we will kick the ball out of play.

I don't think I will be able to stand the excitement.

We'll be ok, just hoof the ball up to Frazier, he can't keep losing it everytime, bound to get lucky eventually.
