Bought this parka. Really caught my eye when I saw it advertised in spring, and then when it pissed down all May took the plunge this week.

Ideal for dog walks, work, football, beach walks, and open air concerts in the rain, one which I'm going to on Friday.

Only a shell, so good for all seasons and layering.

Bought with Unidays 10% discount at the weekend and then it went in sale today, so rebought with 30% off, and had a 10% discount on top of that. Will send the other back.

Bargain.

That longer length is brilliant for keeping the rain off of your waist and thighs. Nothing worse that having a waterproof jacket that dumps all of the rain onto the top of your trousers.

That said, I has something similar and it was useless for cycling as it just bunched up, so I sold it and just got some decent waterpoof trousers. But for the uses you mention, it will be a good piece of kit.

Got a pair of these

These Altra’s are proving to be really good.

Nice and lightweight and grippy on the rocks.

Real test will come when it starts raining, but they are goretex so should be up to the job

would recommend

Just bought another one for my collection. Think you’d like this one @Spurlock it’s inspired by some crown prince Muhammed bloke and you can smell the Arabic undertone in it. Very nice.

Also just bought these.

Nike Pegasus Trail golf shoes.

I did have Adidas Gazelle ones, but they crippled me over the weekend. Too narrow.

The Nike ones will be way more comfortable on my arthritic toes. The Gazelle's will have to go on Vinted.

My latest one and it’s absolutely lovely.

They sent me a little freebie tester of Oud Zarian from Creed. Never smelt anything more disgusting. The smallest bottle is £350. Shocking stuff.

Never heard of that, I’ll have a look. I’m starting to edge towards the Arabic smells. This Stéphane Humber Lucas who I’m obsessed with is a Muslim, I think. He’s released another one called Isra & Miraj and he says it’s inspired by the journey prophet muhammed took before going to the heavens. I like the scents that have been used in it. Not smelt it yet but it’s on the list.
