Baccarat Rouge.

Bloody lovely.

Also like Bottega Veneta.
Exactly what I’m looking for, Chief <ok>

Never tried them but they look great and good reviews. I’ve just ordered 5ml of them both to try before I buy a big bottle.

Just incase your interested there’s a website called Small Aramos that stocks some of the top stuff from around the world and you can buy 2,3 or 5ml of them to try before splashing out on expensive stuff.

You can get dupes of Baccarat Rouge if the full price is off putting.(not cheap!!)

I think it's Monaco from Noted Aromas.

It's definitely 149 from the Scent Reserve, we've got some here.

I’ll pay the price, I just like to get samples before I pay the big money to make sure it’s for me.

I’m not sure if I’d trust these copies, are they even lab tested? I’ve heard a lot of people say that the smell never lasts very long on them.

I've got a Noted Aroma of Joe Malone Cypress & Grapevine (London) and it smells really good but yeah, doesn't last ages. Not sure if the Joe Malone one itself does though, looking at reviews.

That one of Baccarat Rouge does though, and it smells the same.

The real stuff is £355 a bottle, the dupe is £25, so no brainer on that one.

There was a good programme on Radio 4 I was listening to about this. Apparently you can't copyright a smell, so anybody is free to recreate perfumes etc

They do a chemical analysis of what goes into them and then get a computer to replicate the exact same ingredients. But they said they always have a human element to test the final smell before they turn it into a product, so that they can tweak any nuances.

I’ve ordered the sample sizes on the two you originally said as well as a one called Nishane Hacivat extrait which I’ve seen some good reviews on.

With regards to the dupe aftershaves I just need to try and get my head around it because having the real packaging and bottle is part of the appeal to me. Not sure I’d feel the same knowing it’s not the real stuff on me and I like to feel confident with everything I’m wearing when I leave the house.

Which aftershaves you recommending lads?

I’m looking for some new ones to try.

I’ve been using…
Rabanne Phantom
Dior Sauvage
Creed Adventus
Montblanc Explorer
Chanel Allure Homme Sport

Anything new that I should try?
Ck one has been mine for years

Don't like smelling too sweet so all that million, and joop ain't for me

Have just re bought this.

I bought in XL last winter, sold out everywhere but found one, and didn't get round to wearing it till this week.

Am too broad for it, typical Italian cut, so have purchased in 2XL, arrives today.

A thing of beauty!

Don't ever buy any Italian riding gear stuff. XL comes up like a ****in 10 year olds clobber.

Depressing when you have to size up two levels just for it to fit <laugh>

Yeah, decent those.

What's the cut?

Those ones are a taper fit. Barracuda I think the model is. They are good when you want to smart up a bit

I've got a few pairs, and usually go for the relaxed fit, they are comfy as **** and the denim is top quality Japanese stuff

I've got a couple of pairs of the Selvedge denim they use. Worn turned up of course.

Mrs got me this recently from a charity shop.

Turns out it's a rather expensive jumper
