Ahhhh JB...except sadly I think the "lively debate" wasn't his intent despite said declaration. Which is a shame as it would have made him as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?

Thats my view on it. If the mods would kindly move the non liverpool items to their correct boards itd be greatly appreciated.


Obviously the mafia game and some O.T. threads should be still on the board as they are inclusive.

Just on a point of order, it wy MY ****ing thread, not Sis's. Yes, he took it over; yes, I (along with several others) asked for it to be closed when Sis was generating three conspiracy theories an hour - most of which were **** all to do with the subject matter- ; and yes, it is now generally known -, even on other supporters' boards, as 'sis's' thread.

Tbh, I think it's probably best after all that Sis is 'credited' with it.

ps, it served its purpose in that I was eventually able to donate a three-figure sum* to the appeal, including the gift I was sending to my niece for passing her GCSE's in stellar fashion, at her request.

Is the cheese thread worth looking at? i honestly thought it was about cheese and although i love the stuff can`t really think of much more to say about it. If there is other content i may just have a quick visit :wink:

I totally knew the vote was going to go that way, but gave it an honest shot. The flak I'm getting though is very pathetic. Anyway, moving on...

I do think the "If you don't like it **** off" attitude is kind of ****ty though. Its not like moderating was thrust upon anyone. Some of you tried 3 or 4 times to be a moderator, you should've known by then what the job requires you to do. You can't just respond to concerns with "accept it or **** off", part of the job is to listen to people's concerns and issues and try to remove or reduce them where possible.

I know it was mostly due to Livtor arguing the case but Hash made the initial point, and he's practically the founder of this Liverpool forum!!

I agree, the amount of stick you are getting is probably too much but (and I'm not having a pop at you here) you bring it on yourself. You are condescending and aggressive in nearly every post you make, people retaliate with equal aggression as a result. I can't say I'm happy about insults flying about but what can I do when they are flying both way and you continue to act in the exact same way despite people pointing out to you? I fear it may have gone too far now for it to be rectified anyway but the only person that can change it is you.

I think its fair to say we don't really like each other or get on at all so take my words on board or not, I don't really care TBH, but remember that I stood up for you when you first started posting and I only stopped that after you turned on me. I can't speak for others but I'm happy to let bygones by bygones and turn over a new leaf.
