Allied Breweries - Ansells, Ind Coope and other incorporated companies were taken over by Bass before it sold out to Coors who are now MolsonCoors.
Thatcher placed a limit on the number of pubs a brewery could own, Punch Taverns, Burton, bought some of the surplus. The question is which pub will be the last one left in England !!!

Allied Breweries created a pub in King's Lynn, the Wildfowlers from an old farmhouse. The licensee Pepe le Moko left a local pub to take up the licence.
