TBH the very best fish and chips EVER were from a family firm in Lincoln! The Smith family had a few shops in and around Lincoln, they had a secret recipe for their batter, and the portions were unbelievable! I had a good mate when I lived in Lincoln who used to say, "Let's go get a blue whale and ten ton of chips!"

I wonder if PC ever went there, he was at uni in Lincoln!
