Thoughts?

As I said, it does depend on whether Jose actually considers Mata or Luiz his top players. He said he has 6 players for three positions and he wants five, that Mata is the one he's not sure about, and also that it's "Rooney or bust". No beyond the realms of probability that he sees Rooney as far more important to the team than Mata.

Ultimately Jose has never cared about individual players unless he is bigging them up to the media to try and motivate them.

 

Firstly if he puts in a transfer request, we'll go in for him and he'll join us...

Yep... People bring up our history all the time... We were a boing boing club going from division 1 to division 2 etc.. If you had said then that we were going to win 2 European trophies in successive years in the next 30 year, I'd have laughed in your face!

That was the special thing about Munich. I went to the final and it was people who had been supporting the club for years. No jonny come latelys at all. And when Drogba scored there was the celebration that we had just won the Champions League... But also the fact that most of us never thought in our lifetime that we'd see it happen.
