1. Kids, OAPs, those with disabilities should be paying much less, anyone with a Hull FC season ticket should pay double AND made to tend the pitch on Friday nights with a trowel... 2; The only people moving seats should be Millwall fans 3. All types of payment should be accepted including barter, bus tickets and stamps with the Queen's head on them 4. The beer should be Hull Brewery 5. Expats should have a pay on the day option and a seat with cushions reserved for whenever they bloody well feel like attending 6. The Allam Loyalty scheme should be backed up with an oath whereby the beneficiary swears to "Serve, respect and obey every utterance of the great family and prove unfailing loyalty even in the face of rational argument. I promise to denounce and despise all CTWD & Trust members until I die" 7. Safe standing should be 20% off, unsafe standing 50% off
The whole idea is totally garbage. As people have said from a business point of view yes some people may join during the season but also people can leave so it doesn't really benefit you. To counter this you have to have cancellation fees and joining fees to stop people cancelling during the summer when they don't feel they are getting anything despite paying which in turn puts off new people joining because of the joining fee. If it's purely an administration thing I'm sure someone could come up with an innovative system. We have these clever new cards so surely people should just be able to renew online and the games are then loaded onto their card?? Alternatively just give everyone a direct debit form at the start and they can tick to either have one payment claimed every year for the total amount of 12 payments of X amount. Claimed until further notice unless notified otherwise and give a specific period every summer when you can cancel free of charge. As you can see though it sounds a bit messy which is one of the many negatives of the scheme. Personally think the first idea of renewing online is better and easier. You pay for one season at a time whether it be upfront or over 10/12 months. Bollocks to all this cancelling during the season.
on one of the hull city fan forum on Facebook someone as posted that the club as been ringing people to check there details so can send out a form for next season so maybe the membership scheme is being scrapped
There was supposed to be a loyalty scheme in place for this season. They originally mentioned earning points on away tickets etc... but there's been nothing. The points earnt from buying in store often expire too.
If that's the case, we all need to have cancelled it before the end of the season. They'd probably try still taking money off us in the close season. We know what they're like!
The only thing I would add is safe seating plus 100% to offset the income from those of us who choose to stand 'unsafely'
Just looked at the brochure for the memberships. The following things were promised: - Loyalty points scheme - Monthly Prize Draws - Member only events - Earn points on attendance to games - Points back on retail and concourse purchases - Extra benefits & rewards - You can keep a watchful eye on how many points you’ve collected with your monthly email update, with a number of further benefits being made available to supporters at the start of the next campaign, based on the number of loyalty points you’ve accumulated. - It was also mentioned that cup games could be loaded onto your card… never happened. Did any of these things materialise??
I think I'd like to pay for a season pass in one lump sum, much like I've done in the past. As for loyalty points, it took the tossers seven months (after a score of emails) to make a decision on Away Direct. The decision was 'thanks for your past loyalty, now get stuffed'! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
1. Restore concessions 2. Price reasonably 3. Restore the name Hull City to all comms inside and outside the stadium 4. Restore the old badge* *Not essential immediately, but should be an aim. These ^^^^ and I'll join.
I wonder if the stewards have ever stopped anybody from moving to a different zone to the one they've actually paid for Another flaw in the wonderful scheme
I would think that there will be a variance of the current scheme, basically an extension of the Family Stands, were memberships will be along the lines of Adult and Junior membership cards. The current system does not allow for focused promotions. The over 60's concession is harder to work out as although it is easy to just say knock 20% off or whatever, the policing of it is harder. So I think that there will be a restriction on what stands the over 65's will get a concession in. Quite a few clubs do this already. I was a little shocked this weekend when I found out that someone I know has abused the system since the KC was opened and has never in fact paid full price and has always used a concession even though he is not entitled, I thought he wasn't going to games as a protest, but it was because the membership scheme meant he had to pay what he should have been paying all along. The ****ing **** him. Whilst it does not make the reason for the introduction of the membership scheme right, if he can get away with it for so long it not only begs the question of how many others there are, it angers me, to think back on how smug the **** must have been. I know posters will say that the numbers were lower than stated by the club, but he was in a large group and I don't think he would be alone in that particular gaggle to do the same.
My point is that it doesn't have to be any type of scheme. It can be a season pass All you needed to do was send a different letter out one year to those who pay direct debit to say it's now a rolling contract like their mobile phones and that's all those people done And for everyone else just let them pay annually if they want...you know almost like treating them as valued customers
If the club has never taken the time since 2002 to once check a season pass offered by an adult to see if it is a child or OAP pass, even when all gates were staffed, then that is down to the club's incompetence and it remains entirely within the club's gift to initiate checks. To rip up the whole system and financially punish legitimate young people and OAPs is a massive sledgehammer thudded down upon the entirely wrong nut.
