Whether he is taken to this years tournament or not should be down to his form and fitness. But I think to a large extent it will be his last. I think the younger players are probably already playing better than he is, that is why I hope Hodgson plays form over reputation. But in two years time for the next WC I just can't see how he will justify selection? Don't get me wrong if he is the form striker and commands his place in the team on merit then I'd back him all the way to the next euros, IF that were the case, I can't see it though, I think he's generally a spent force. Bah!
Totally agree General and I can't see him going to the next World Cup other than as a spectator. We live in hope ........
