Kind of chimes in with my thinking. We should be pleased that people WANT to come and live in this country.
The corollary is that there is a very simple way to stop all unwanted immigration. I commend it to Pritti Patel. We simply turn ourselves into a country that noone wants to come to. I recommend North Korea as a perfect model.
And another thing.
When is a political party - ANY party - going to put forward policies that mean we need LESS police officers , not more ?
