Remember it well. The two liverpool goals only managed to wake up a hungry lion. It was an FA cup game if memory serves, stand corrected if i'm wrong, brings back great memories though of a time when we were plucking the best from the best because we couldn't afford the real deal, and really revelling in the wins against the top boys. If you listen to Jose'. Things ain't changed much.

The highlights there don't really tell the whole story. In the first half Chelsea were appalling and Liverpool were flying. It was almost one way traffic. Pool should of gone in six nil up. Chelsea didn't show up and it was more luck than skill that Pool only got the two goals. The Vialli chance was the only one.

Second half was a complete contrast and we could of got more than four. The enduring image is of Mark Wright hands on hips looking shell shocked after the fourth goal. He just turns not knowing where to look or what to say.

That was a great game! I've come back so many times from a game with a smile on my face, its very hard to say what was the best one!
