I'm obviously not as 'special' as you, Happy, which is why I'd really appreciate your explaining to me just what are the "logic and sense" in 'Dr' Allam's plans.
If you had something to say, you'd say it. What should a meal have to do with whatever way one votes? It shouldn't, but it has affected it. That speaks volumes about the petty evil **** Dr. Allam and the corrupt shambles of an FA. So what if Sheikh Mansour has enough of all this rubbish and decides Hull City shouldn't be in the league, will you be happy for us to be voted out of existence on the whim of a few meals of good standard?
We don't even know how many voted yes, we only know what percentage voted no, most of the rest could be abstentions and non-attendees for all we know.
I didn't say any different. Scudamore came out against the name change, which given his position and the lack of need for him to make a statement public acted as a sign that any PL Council execs on the FA Council would vote No (people in that position don't generally undermine their position by publically adopting a stance that the people below them aren't going to carry through) With a week of that statement someone from the FL spoke out and said they'd be voting in favour of it to protect the smaller clubs from a precedent. I don't know if that was Clarke (the Chairman of the FL) or the CEO. They're often the same person in businesses (it's not the best arrangement), but they shouldn't be in the FL, they've got plenty of people capable of filling the roles when you consider the fact there's 72 football clubs that can provide board members to the FL. In Joey Essex's case you don't get as far as the smoke before he says something about it being about how it's wrong to sleep with your sister.
