Mandela effect. He’s always been capable of playing forward passes but he never done it enough. In his youth I think fans were more impressed at the fact a young kid was able to play in a composed manner but he was never really playing forward or creative passes. Years later nothing changed and then the youthful bias wore off and people realised that he was just no more than a bottom half calibre player, he’d fit in with the team nowadays though, many are at his level.
^that all said, if I had to keep one of Winks, Ndombele or Lo Celso and bin the other two, I’m picking Winks all day long.
Fosters is an overated lager with a taste to match, VB is very popular and is a mainstay of most pubs bars. Ange strikes me more of a red wine sort of guy. If he comes to Spurs Beavertown will be his new favourite!
Could work tbh, think him and his staff might be a bit overwhelmed by the sheer size of Spurs though and struggle with that. Celtic have a big stadium and tons of fans, but their training facilities and the like are championship at best and the league they play in is possibly below that standard. In fact, certainly is.
Scottish media jumping on the story now and saying Ange has informed Celtic of his decision to leave. Hard not to see this one going through now after the Slot stuff… but then we are Spurs.
I thought this about Nuno. The step up from Wolves was just too big for him. Ultimately though it isn't a given and is down to how confident he is in himself and how much gravitas he has. Having said that though, I am struggling to think of another manager who left a relatively small club and did well at a huge one. Brendan from Swansea to Liverpool comes to mind, albeit the former were already in the PL and the latter were somewhat in the wilderness at the time. Hmm.
