You do make me laugh everyday. I can just imagine Brix sitting there and a big red buzzer goes off, everytime you post.....
Off topic on an important thread here guys... (But strangely enough I get no PMs about Swords - other than from mods of other boards occasionally. This is probably because his default is to apologise as soon as someone challenges him on his wum efforts!)
He's a bit like a little dog that tries to shag people's legs, we know what he's like but shocks others...
Brilliant roller, this deserves to get a wide audience because it just captures what it's like to be a real fan. We're a family
Roller. everyone else has said it all. Stunning and mesmorising read, linked well and so difficult to do. Your effort was collosal, and very much appreciated. We are QPR!
Thanks very much Roller for the article. I was in tears at the end. Really, really BRILLIANT. Appreciate it.
Great read & brilliantly written Roller have been a bit pre-occupied lately so have only just read your article, can't really add to the comments above they really do say it all. As you know I have had a few personal issues of late so apologies for not writing a few more lines and replying to your 2nd email and reading through the your comments on the last two matches really brought back memories and feelings that I was also experiencing at the time, for example after Cisse scored I roared so loudly that I shocked Flanbaby and he nearly flew out of his cot crying his eyes out and my other half said dryly "I take it they scored then" still makes me laugh. But on the second goal I was so stunned didn't know weather to laugh or cry just watched the celebrations on my computer in silence rubbing my eyes wondering if Makie had really scored only believing it after looking at the replays. Hope you don't mind just wanted to share a couple of moments that I would have liked to have shared with you earlier.
Classic mate, that would have fitted in perfectly. A guy called liamoliam put this on the Indy Rs board which may be of interest to some.... "The article mentions the Irish connection going back to 60's Kilburn. In fact the Irish link goes back to our beginnings. The Queen's Park estate was built for those workers building the Great Western Railway from Paddington. Many of those workers were Irish navvies. It probably explains why one of our early kits was green and white hoops (like our alternative kit last year at Cardiff)."
