Too early for a match thread and we already are discussing the team for Spurs. Lots of intriguing Champions League games this week beginning tonight and a full list of Championship fixtures.

Pick of todays games has to be Shaktar against Chelsea and will be interesting to see how Celtic cope away to the mighty Barca!

After all the rubbish Celtic fans were spouting on here last week it would be nice to seem them thoroughly outclassed!

I support British teams in Europe with no exceptions in the knockout stages. In the group stage I don't mind seeing an upset so much and sometimes support the other team. I will definitely be hoping Celtic can win, not bothered about Man United, I'd like to see Shahktar get a result and show people that don't know much about them that they are a good team. Whatever idiots say you have to rise above it, after all a few clowns don't represent a team's fanbase on the whole, or at least I hope not. Besides , I always support the opposing team when the Barcelona School of Drama and Theatre play or shall I say act. Celtic are well organized usually so hopefully they can put up a good fight.

I also support all British teams. Nothing could be more boring than getting to later stages with no British interest. I'm sorry if it offends footballing purists, but I would not watch a final of Barcelona v Atletico Madrid (for example) because I would have no interest in the result.

Sorry Fran, but surely you must agree the final of Barcelona v Man U 2 seasons ago was worth watching to see Man U get taught a footballing lesson?

Gotta remember to check out Shakhtar's Henrikh Mkhitaryan tonight.

Just so you know, it's pronounced "Mek-it-ar-yan", and there are multiple ways of spelling it in our alphabet because they use a different alphabet in Armenia. But yes, I used the spelling Google gave me.

Will have to listen tonight now and see how many commentators get confused!
