I think the main thing for today is that Wigan and Villa do not win. If so it will give Pinocchio a better scenario on Monday with any points being a bonus and allowing us to pull away from the drop zone. Having said that, I take it Cortese's objective is no longer survival but pushing towards Europe?
Survival is within touching distance for Sunderland. Currently moving onto 28 points, with 15 matches still left. But as they're beating Wigan, it's no bad thing.
I'm more concerned with Wigan and Villa. If they both lose and if (a pretty big one admittedly) we win on Monday we're 6 points clear of the relegation zone.
I am thinking that too, was wondering what odds you could get on it (probably not as good as 2 months ago!). And how the F have they signed Remy!!!!
On the other hand we could be 1 point behind them by 10 o'clock on Monday evening <rubs hands together>.
