Wenger will be gone by the end of this season imo. Shame really as I love seeing Piers Morgan crying on twitter.
Yep, enjoyed Bradford City rolling over Arsenal, who have yet to win at Valley Parade in 90 years [shock headline]..! Of course, it helps the odds if you haven't played there more than a few of times over the decades.
Bradford City played some good accurate passing football at times too - in the first half they appeared to out-pass the Arsenal at times. Made up for them - football needs this kind of result occassionally.
Bradford definitely deserved it. Should give lessons to England team about penalty shoot outs...apparently shoot it straight and hard and don't change your mind. Two of Arsenals failures were very close...one just missed and the last bounced off post...trying to be too clever. Lambo goes for accuracy and power...if hit hard enough will often beat the goalie even if he guesses correctly.
Massive well done to Bradford. I watched the game last night and they deserved it. Although Arsenal did dominate towards the end of the 90 and extra time. Hardly surprising though, Bradford must have been knackered!
Yes they fully deserved it. Slight wobble when Arsenal equalised but they held firm in extra time and won through. Big crowd as well 23k.
Big crowd but where the **** were they when Bradford were tumbling down the leagues? A lot of them were plastic fans.
People have to start attending matches somewhere. Their money is the same...even if plastic. Hate the plastic fan debate almost as much as I hate dicussing the use of technology.
But what if we could introduce a machine that scientifically derived whether you were a real fan or a plastic one Fran?
That's what the red and green lights and the buzzer is for as you go through the turnstiles at St Mary's! If it goes red you tumble through a trap door into a dank pool filled with sharks fitted with lasers.
Tom, it is a fact of life that more fans will go to games v the big clubs as its a special occassion, or more often when their own team is doing especially well - every footbal team in the world has a hardcore support + other more occassional fans. Its normal. This 'plastic fan' thing is daft & tiresome. For me - i'm made up for every Bradford City fan today.
Just out of interest, Saints are 12th in the average attendance league in the Prem this season with 30,271. Before you ask, the highest average in the Championship is Brighton with 25,446.
