When I'm not masturbating alone in the closet next to my Arsene Wenger poster, I also run a small business, making and selling organic raw chocolate to sell at local farmers' markets. I do of course wash my hands first
I don't really **** alone in the closet next to an Arsene Wenger poster. My Hareem is in there with me
Back on topic, a day and a bit left and I think the OP is correct. Even if we get one marquee signing, it doesn't address issues with the squad. This WAS supposed to be our summer. But the clowns in charge have proven themselves to be amateurs when it comes to big money transfers. It's almost as if our transfer team's only strength is to persuade nervous Spanish parents to make their bright young teenager sign for us and for them to up sticks for London.
Let's see what Monday brings. Then we can make a judgement on this window. It's been a shambles up until now, but there's still time to make the signings we need, so I'm going to wait and see what happens and then make an opinion
If they manage to turn this around in 24 hours than it will be one massive escape act. I dearly hope that happens but if even they do pull it off, the fact remains the season has been put at suicidal levels of risk by leavig it so late. This is a judgement that CAN already be made, ie given the funds at our disposal and the opportunity to capitalise on volatility in management elsewhere, this level of risk taking is inexcusable.
Maybe Wenger just likes a bit of Drama Seriously though, if tomorrow brings Ozil and another top quality player then it will have been a really good window and some people on here will be eating humble pie.
It IS excusable if we were waiting for these players to become available due to the Bale transfer. This is the problem to rushing judgement on things that none of us have any real knowledge about.
