He said Wigan were a good team.....really, well they are the worst team I have seen this season, I could honestly not work out how they were trying to open us up going forward....I think MM is totally pissed at today's outcome, like any good manager he is not slating his team but choosing to build up the opposition to defend himself and his team.
Lets see what reactuon there is next week, hopefully we will have a couple of new faces in before then!!
Crikey people doing the " they are there in the table, three points " rubbish. It's not football manager for heavens sake.
" actually rather 3 at back but thats waaaaay too adventurous " I don't believe the Man Utd fans would call this " adventurous " Spanish !!!!
I'm not going to overreact. We're in a great position still. But I agree with Hoppers, today would've been ideal to try something new, be a bit adventurous, especially with Wigans poor goal record.
What makes even more galling is that with a decent crowd we put in a p poor performance like that,it's no way to encourage the waiverers back.
That doesn't surprise me....you type in to get to the Ipswich board but invariably end up on the Norwich board
Displays like that make me get soooo frustrated with Mick, sometimes I think he's a bit self fulfilling in what he says and how he sets his teams up. Whilst he's a really good championship manager that errring on the side of caution stops him from being a top manager which he has the potential to be. I have no problem grinding results out, you need to sometimes, if you're not at your best, grind it out but sometimes under Mick it looks like that is our Plan A not Plan B Whilst our defence has come on leaps and bounds and our strikers given their ability looks to have improved a great deal under the coach of MM and TC, we really need to look at the midfield and being in possession. IMO the midfield is the most important area, I guess that's from being brought up in the Burely era, if you have a good midfield it takes a lot of pressure off the other areas. Saying all this it is certainly not the end of the world, we're only 3 points off top, whilst the 3 above are far better than us in terms of quality if we stay within touching distance they will have a few blips on the way and we're not likely to go on that bad a run of form, unless this is it which I'll take if we're only 3 points behind the leaders. Looking at the team we have, I still have no clue how we are where we are in the league. Under Mick I seem to be quite positive until I watch or listen to a game then I get really frustrated because it's just usually such a slog but that's what I guess comes with the package.
