Walking back to my car, down Anlaby Road, after the Stoke game and I saw a middle aged woman with a city scarf on and what could be best described as a rolled up sleeping bag under her arm. I had no allow myself a little chuckle at the level of tog she was lugging about. You could have kipped on the top of Everest under the bastard. Didn't see a flask though , which was disappointing.
I said it was casting a shadow over the season, rather than casting a shadow over the football, it's off the field where many are disillusioned and pissed off.
No. Some go to support their team. Others go to watch the football. That is the difference between supporters and spectators. We have too many who are spectators, hence the lack of atmosphere at the KC. A lot of the spectators will disappear again if we go back down again, just like they weren't interested before and are only interested now as they are more bothered about seeing all the big names, which is why they will put up with anything as long as they can carry on doing so.
You're right. I don't like football, I only go to see the name 'Hull City AFC' on the shirts and watch fireworks. And start fights with the police of course, but who doesn't do that?
