Reasonable surmise Cidered, based on what you said.
But only a complete idiot would go to a club in City's position , and Warnock is not one.
Coppell wasnt one either, but the veneer has got a little thin since he was hoodwinked into joining us.

I dont believe Warnock would be so crazy as to go to a club with so little going for it as we have these days. In fact I am sure, and if we do attract anyone anywhere near as good I will hold up my hands and say I have learned nothing about football in the 50 odd years I have been a supporter/fanatic/student of the game.

I've been watching City for 64 years so maybe I've learned even less than you BRR!
all I know is that the dreams I've had for those years are unlikely to ever come to fruition.

Despite the fact that I will probably never attend a game again at Ashton Gate still does not dampen my support for my team. However when we get promoted back to the Championship I will attend several games in the season and buy 606 posters a round of drinks (that's a promise). Shiny if you do move to Canada you can come out to the island and we'll have a few bevvies in my new house. My goodness I'm getting all teary eyed.

I have moved back to Bristol from Portugal because my wife missed her family and I missed my family at Ashton Gate.
But after four games, I would willingly reverse the move if I could.

I was one of the veryf ew, and possibly the only one, and I'm not being clever here or saying 'told you so' but I've never liked or trusted SL from the moment he arrived. I saw him as a smug and self satisfied person who wanted to own a football club.

Yes he's rich, but he knows as much about football as I do about ballet, which is sweet FA.

He has meddled many times when he should have left well alone, and has made some shocking, truly shocking decisions, and whilst I acknowledge that he's paid the debts and bankrolled the club, what has all of this money achieved ? The answer is absolutely nothing.

He says he is embarrassed by what he's spent on the club and so he should be.

With you all the way on those comments angelic and it does make me question how someone who is highly regarded and successful in his other line of work be so useless at owning and running a football club?

He should be embarrassed at what his misspent millions have done for the club and more importantly leave the business side of running the club to people who know what it's all about, and I don't his son on that list. Very sad state of affairs and I have no confidence in us having anyone on board (excuse the pun) who is capable of fixing the problems, and so I expect the worst because I can see no other option right now.

we draw a few, negative moans...we win, all back to positive...we draw...all back to negative....I guess if we lose then it will be a mass exodus for the suspension bridge ..just look at the table ....
    .............
    ...................

a win tonight would put us on the same games played, OK closer to the bottom zone than the top....but 6th place is well within the realms of possibility of any of the teams from 22nd upwards...

I usually spend a bit of time looking at the next 6 fixtures for the bottom 8 /10 teams but it is so erratic result wise NO POINT REALLY...WE NEED TO WIN 3 DRAW 2 AND LOSE ONE......
