I was just saying, because Hull's the "END OF THE LINE", you can't get go anywhere else once your'e in Ull.
Spent two hours in Slough this week and am there all day on Monday. Sorry but Slough seems to be full of ex uber drivers
It's a grim, miserable place is Slough. It's hopeless, low of spirit and despondent. The Slough of Despond. ****ing shoe-horning John Bunyan into a thread. Knew I'd get an opportunity eventually. Patience grasshopper, patience.
I think the request for friendly bombs to fall on Slough as it isn't fit for humans now settles it. Unless John Betjeman thought cow was pronounced cuff of course.
Previous company I worked for had an office in the centre of slough. We had standing instructions that if you left the office after dark, you did not go alone. It’s the biggest ****hole I’ve had to work in.
Tis true Kemps my love! I've also spent a night in a Latino bar in the heart of East LA, completely by accident, where the only reason I wasn't dumped in a drain after being murdered, was because of my "cute" accent, the fact I wasn't American, and that I could talk bollocks about football and boxing. *flex*
I did some work in Slough a fair few years back. Stayed there for a couple of months. The only positive was the landlord at the pub nearest my hotel was a bit of a chef wannabe & produced a wonderful two plate mixed grill for a fiver. Had it four times a week for two months. If Slough has received heavy investment every year since my last visit in 1996, then it could well have promoted itself to the status of "**** hole' by now. It really was that bad.
Swindon in 4th place and Stoke in 5th tells you all you need to know about the accuracy of the survey.
