Whilst Saints have slipped to 5th in the table i thought about the other teams around us vying for 3rd and 4th spot so checked out their remaining fixtures against the big boys.

Saints
Chelsea A 15/03/15
Spurs H 25/04/15
Man C A 24/05/15

Liverpool
Man C H 01/03/15
Man U H 22/03/15
Arsenal A 04/04/15
Chelsea A 09/05/15

Chelsea H 26/04/15
Man U A 16/05/15

Spurs
Man U A 15/03/15
Saints A 25/04/15
Man C H 02/05/15

Man U

Liverpool A 22/03/15
Man C H 12/04/15
Chelsea A 18/04/15
Arsenal H 26/04/15

Thought it might be worth remembering that the other teams around us still have tough fixtures too and most of them still have cup distractions also

Well it is certainly going to be an interesting run in!
Top 4 finish depends on how well we do in the other games.
IF we won them all we would finish in the top 4 even if we lost the three tough matches you have highlighted in my view as our competitors will take points of each other.

You could counter-argue that if we played more matches against the big boys we would have more control over our own destiny though.

I also think we suit playing the bigger sides in a way, smaller teams will see the success Swansea and West Ham had at St Marys and more and more of them will be trying the same tactic.

The best bit about this thread is these words:

"Whilst Saints have slipped to 5th in the table ....."

You've just got to love the fact that we've slipped and we're 5th. Love it. 8 points dropped in last three games and we are 5th.

Someone pinch me.
