Actually totally shocked by our performance and the team selection!!!! Our last away game v Hull down to 10 men and battled and played well and very unlucky to lose. We could have got a point V Arsenal and with the correct decisions should have beaten Spurs but as soon as the first goal went in yesterday we were beaten! Why?! I have no idea.....perhaps the inclusion of Adel and SWP had already rocked the boat before the game started?!!! Perhaps no OBZ gave them no confidence but either way its a crime to give up and back to 2013......as I said really surprised and shocked and I hope Ramsey piles into them as his post match was not critical at all.........
Missed my point a bit Col I am afraid....You are right...the Everton match is not about relegation, it is more important than that (I sound like Bill Shankley) It is more about self esteem and status.....both the players, the club and (us too) the fans. If we go down without a whimper this time...it is very dark days ahead... But if we go down as a proud club (like Burnley were looking too (not that I think the will go down now)...we will go down with something to hang on to...something to look to the future) After Saturday we are staring into an abyss AS the Kerry boy says...we are all doomed I tell yer
In the case of Bear Grylls I think the strategy is to get his production team to book him into the nearest decent quality hotel when the going gets a bit iffy.
