I had to take action on a different forum because of a series of libellous posts which led to an apology, removal of material, a promise not to repeat, and a donation to charity. This was not me censoring people's opinions, this was pure and deliberate defamation. I wasn't the first victim either. This person doesn't post here for reasons many of you know, but the matter is closed as far as both of us are concerned. We've moved on, and stirring it up now is unhelpful.
If you think you're being smart implying that I'm somehow silencing people who disagree with me you're wrong. If you were censored by the mods it's because they know what you're saying is untrue.
The flag system, as you know, is effective, and this site is well moderated, but the internet itself isn't completely unregulated for good reason.

I have always found Redskin to be a really good poster. He is very honest and tells it how it is.

The main problem for the Aussies was they ignored the old business maxim - "under promise, and over deliver". They did the opposite.
It was sheer arrogance and hubris to pass out titbits in the way that they have done - its no good talking about "5 Year Plans to get to the Premier League" [where have we heard that before?] when its taken you 16 months and numerous false dawns to even to get to this pathetic stage.
Please- for the sake of long term Charlton fans, as opposed to attention seekers - bring this farce to an end, and send Muir & Co packing.
Said it before, but I like CL's rule about not posting about other forums. I don't understand the continual attacks on CL, and in particular the mod, who has a hard job moderating such a busy forum. You get a wide variety of opinions on there, some idiots and some who you can learn from, but all Charlton fans, so worth reading, which we (nearly) all do, don't we?
There are a number of references to NOT606 on CL today and yesterday. So the moderator on there is not sticking to his policy. I can also PM you requests from me to the moderator on CL to do something about the bullying and the hounding I was receiving from a certain poster. Nothing was done which forced me to close my account with CL. I was NOT banned from there. I left because of the threats.

The question was why wasn't anything done at the time? I know of many CL posters who have been abused by this poster.I would like to post on Charlton life as there are a number of decent human beings and TRUE Charlton fans. But I find it impossible because of this poster.
