What made The Simpsons so special was the ability to go from being funny, to emotional straight away. One episode, that did actually have me on the verge of tears was Homer telling the story of Maggie being born, and why there was no pictures of her in the Family photo album. And, right at the end there you see Homers desk at the plant with a montage of Maggie covering up a sign, to spell out "Do It For Her". Such emotion from a cartoon like that, is unique. Which makes it all the more sad to see Simpsons becoming crap. They should end it, before they start to destroy the brand.

And Maggie Makes Three? Yeah, one of my favourite episodes ever. They used to have great endings like that, then through later seasons it was usually Homer in pain or some ridiculous plot line.

Thats the one! It was an incredible ending, to an incredible episode. I also really like ending to the episode where Homer finds his Mum, but she has to leave. And the ending is simply Homer staring up to the stars. Simple, yet very moving.

It is unfortunate nowadays though, they do have to resort to something incredibly stupid for the storylines.

I find it entertaining. Especially Bender! Ive never really found American Dad funny. Its just Family Guy, with different characters. Which is also dying a slow slow painful death.

I agree about Family Guy, used to love it but now it's a bit meh.

American Dad is still going strong for me, however can see it becoming rubbish soon.

Futurama can be incredible, but it has a lot of **** episodes too. It's all about clever storylines really, rather than random irrelevent comedy which is why fans of stuff like Family Guy usually can't really be arsed with it.

Also whoever said they listened to Selected Ambient Works 1 high, you haven't lived until you've had S.A.W 2 on repeat for a whole day after not sleeping for 3 days and having lit up regularly for about as long.

Selected Ambient Works 2! I had it playing while I was snoozing in Tenerife once, gave me freaking nightmares!!! I try to avoid it if possible now haha.

The 'Grass' track is one of the most insanely brilliant things to listen to when you haven't slept in ages. One time the walls actually look like they were warping backwards on themselves <laugh>. I'm a really massive fan of that album though, I can't be without it for more than a week - and that's been the case for years.

I prefer the 1st selected works if im honest. Going against the Majority haha. Yeh, 'Grass' is the song that started to give me mares. Its so freaking eerie, and listening to it, after a heavy night out, in a strange place like Tenerife. Not advised!

Last years season of South Park was amazing. This year, not so much. Still the best animated show there is though

I just dont get peoples obsession with it! I find it so unentertaining its untrue. I dont like its 'shock' humour so to speak. Im not some kind of Political Correctness Nazi, but some of the shock values of South Park, just go way too far.

Anyways, good night Gentlemen! I have some facebook stalking to do. Speak tomorrow no doubt. Unless my internet hasnt been cut off, for serious fb stalking.

Reckon you've been watching mostly the older episodes mate, the newer ones are actually smartly written and funny and don't just rely on shock-humour and fart jokes etc. They take the piss out of basically everything in a way that they can both get away with, and is hilarious. Watch season 13 and 14 if you get a chance.
