<laugh> Incredible! I once woke up in a skip, in Leeds. I got awoken by some workmen, who presumably were about to throw something in it, when they noticed me! Didnt have a clue where I was, had no money. Mobile was dead too. So, I spent an hour walking to Leeds City Centre, and managed to ring my brother to give me a lift home.

Boy, did I get lectured on that journey home.

Love stories like this <laugh> I've got a terribly boring knack of always being able to get home into my own bed. I've had some nights where I've woken up and can't even remember going out the night before!

Never taken drugs myself. Just drink far too much. Constantly. Was marking a dissertation earlier and spilt a glass of red wine on it. ****e.

Yeah I'm still waiting for my first bad experience. Worst I've got is about 2pm the day, we were watching tv, still no sleep, and for the life of me I just could not remember. Anything at all. What just happened, what just happened then, what I was trying to remember. Then I kept forgetting that I was forgetting things. Literally, 1 second would happen and I would forget it. We had to stop watching Man vs Food 'cause it was freaking me out so much because I kept forgetting what it was and then seeing a man almost choke on food and then forget again entirely and get freaked out again.

    It was ****ing weird <laugh>

That's only the comedown though. Always laughs and giggles on it for me.

edit; IN FACT! I know when that was. I came online that evening a few hours later, and there was that thread about Amnesiac's name and him forgetting things, and it freaked me out <laugh> I told you all to stop because it was freaking me out. Then I said I felt like i was melting or something. And logged off and ate about 6 yoghurts.

It is events like that that I will look back on with pride when i'm on my deathbed. Life is too short to be sensible all the time.

I'm like you though, my homing pidgeon instinct usually gets me home. God knows what I had to drink that night! <laugh>

Seriously? Only ever had good experiences on MD, although occasionally the comedown is awful. Haven't done it in ages, mind.

Damn straight. One of the best bets I ever won was when I was totally ****faced and my mates bet me to swim across the river Trent. Greatest 10 quid i've ever made.

You just know that in 2 hours time that manatee is going to be spinning slowly with a pulsing psychedelic background and subliminal Griffiths hallucinations.

Brilliant. See all the fun teatotallers miss out on!

Saying that though you have to wait for the hangover to go away before you can look back on it with joy :)

Play it right and the comedown can be fine. Depends if you smoke weed too. Get plenty of that, fruit juices, and yoghurts. Lots of yoghurts. Biscuits might be too much to handle I'm afraid. **** load of movies and your duvet and you've got the day sorted. No more than 4 in a room otherwise it could get a bit freaky. Never stand up.

The correct spelling is 'manatee'. I'm ashamed of myself.
