Tippy tappy possession means nowt unless you score. It was a pen, probably not a sending off. Catts did not foul wijdum, your players probably under instruction were trying too hard to get him sent off it was blatant and obvious and worked against them.

 

I forgot you had a player sent off and a penalty given against you for no reason.

Tiote two fouls one yellow

It happens in football ref decisions are huge.

 

At the end of the day if we play ****e and still beat ya 3-0 god help ya in the return fixture cos we wont be that bad again! If you want someone to blame then blame yr captain.

 

We were ****. No doubt about it. We had a slice of good luck where the red card was concerned and we then did well to take our chances thereafter but it was a poor performance.

M'Vila had a good game. AJ looked decent but aside from that I was really unimpressed.

Both teams need to improve if they're going to stay up.

 

Kaboul was outstanding. I think Big Sam played a blinder once the red card was issued. Stand off, invite them on then exploit on the break. The worry is not being able to string a few passes together, it's painful seeing us try to attack in anyway but on the break. We were clinical and we were organised. We haven't received much credit for that but without doubt it had a massive effect on the game, even with the penalty under our belt, without those two we could have still lost the game. Mags looked good in the middle of the park, very good infact, but upfront they were ****e and the defence proved to be a liability. Both teams can take positives from parts of their game but both have blatant problems which will lead to a long season for both. Money for both in Jan desperately needed imo.

 

At the end of the day we lost 3-0. It's not good enough, we need to start putting some points on the board.

 

Play him on the left sing, that assist was sublime.

 

If a foul is deserving of a yellow card then so be it, none of Catts fouls deserved a yellow, while Tiote's was. A foul by Catts doesn't automatically mean its a yellow card.

 

I thought Kaboul looked crap apart from his run forward and pass for the goal. His clearances were all sloppy and never found his man, even when he was under little pressure.

As I say I think we took the goals well but aside from that I thought we looked very, very shaky. The mags were definitely good in midfield but blunt in the final third.

I wouldn't take too many positives though. Both need to step up big style.

There are more than two posters on here and it needs to be somewhere that everyone can take part in without having to wade through posts of personal arguments. Would be better all round if that was done on a voluntary basis.
