Is it not cos one of the mayors flooded the whole city with police and crime rates dropped 90% or something therefore the areas became more desirable?

In other news, Hackney is full of tattooed hipsters selling craftbeer, & Tottenham has an artisan bakery & several coffee shops.

 

There's hope for Govanhill yet then.
