I can't get my head around it to, he is beyond cleuless... makes millen look like brian clough.. does any other manager buy players then refuse to play them?
**** sake, you play the formation best suited to achieve your aims - also, have you never heard of "cover" or squad players - beyond belief Of the 7 below, 5 are SHORT TERM, and the other 2 to the end of the season, which part of that makes you think that they have any sort of long term future here...??? Wilson (M) - contracted to 30th June 2013 Wilson (D) - short term loan to 22nd January 2013 Bates - short term signing to 17th January 2013 McManus - short term loan to January Elokobi - loan signing to 27th Dec 2012 – out all season Morris - contracted to 30th June 2013 Danns - loan signing to January 2013
Yeah, clearly you and del are on the same wave length being "best suited to achieve your aims".. you miss going to leyton orient away on a tuesday night do you? Give me a ****ing break, anderson didn't come here to be a squad player..... At least you admitted it it will take you a month to find out mciness is clueless.. by then it'll be too late though
The quicker he is sacked the quicker the club can see who applies. In the past O'Neill applied and total hatstand Coppell took the job. The role can also pays be several hundred k a season so its not a bad wedge to be on is it?? any new manager wouldn't also have much to surpass as McInnes can barely get two competitive performances out on them on the spin and little things like a defensive team shape have been missing all season. Millwall seventh spend around nine million spounds less on wages than Bristol city twenty third. Still some think McInnes needs even more sigings and more cash to spend.
No dilema. Coach to Blackburn is now a van. Others have binned their travel totally. Away support is collapsing. Fans are at a very very low ebb and it is hard to see McInnes finding the nouse in future to turn it around when he has shown so little so far. Time for a mutual agreement to part ways.
No need for silly protest the gaps in the ground and the nearly non existent away support will tell Mr Lansdown all he needs to know.
Changing the manager still isnt the answer, we do it all too frequently, and where has it got us ? Nowhere is where. Look at the likes of Forest and QPR who have just had managerial changes. Hardly setting the world alight are they with 'Arry and McLeish in charge ?? If we get rid of Del then it's another set of new players, more frustration whilst another side is built from scratch, and I guarantee that in 12 months time you'll all be calling for that persons head too because we'll be no better off than we are today unless you bring in someone that we probably cant afford. Those of you who said we would be top 2 or in a Play Off position at the start of the season didnt get that sorting out this often frustrating and badly run club was never going to be a quick fix. This is one tough league and we were never going to be anything but strugglers this season whilst adjustments are made for the future and the academy is built. If we make wholesale changes again now it would be the worst thing imaginable for the whole club and that's saying something. Get behind the team and the Manager, at least for the foreseeable future
The saddest part of this whole debacle is that there does not seem to be anyone at Bristol City that give a rat's ass about us the supporters. Watched the Posh game yesterday on player and was saddened to see all the empty seats knowing that next season they could be even emptier. Listening to yesterday's game made me almost (almost) believe that we had earned a well deserved point at Millwall despite not showing up in the first half and then the real City showed up and gave it away in the last quarter. It beggared belief to see Fontaine in the starting lineup (again?) and made me wonder why our clueless leader was shuffling a winning pack. I figured it was probably done to upset the players who have come to City to further their careers only to sit on the bench, assuming there was enough room. I have tried my best to give Derek the space to create the new Bristol City that he promised, but when I saw decisions like bringing in Jody (you're kidding me) Morris and the others that came here only to have their egoes squashed, then I ask myself how much longer will this be allowed to continue? Then I answered myself by thinking that this is City and the beatings will continue until morale improves - and that just applies to the suffering customers in the seats whilst the guilty go unpunished. Sounds typically you know who to me.
Danny Wilson is injured (hamstring) and has returned to Liverpool for treatment, so I can only guess that he came here with the problem and it hasn't mended. It has been suggested that Davies looks sluggish and out of fitness, so that would explain why he has not featured because Del is a stickler over training form. That is a major plus in Del's case, but casts a doubt over the fitness trainers and the player himself. If a footballer needs extra motivation they should send him to the dole office. Still, if Davies had been fool-proof, then he would be at a Premiership club, or very least back where he came from, because that is what we dine on here in Bristol - scraps. We had a serious pre season and hit the ground running, then it all went pear shaped very quickly. Could this be due to the on-going training regime ? Could be a re-think is in order as far as fitness training. Personally I think the team has hit a moral sapping low because of our ability to turn victory into defeat and our joke of a defence which will see us in Div2 before anyone splashes out on a lynchpin for the middle of it
Angelic - i'm with you 100% on this. The most important job Del has to do is start producing serious players from our Academy. That is the bigger picture, and for a club like us its the only one that matters because its the future.
. Thanks Rickster. I just hope we dont have to go down while we wait for products of the Academy to materialise.....
Rodders you said you have a Del dilemma I.. love you, and I.. need you (Del) I.. love you, I do.. neeeeed you (Del)- but No matter what I do, all I think about is you (Del) Even when I'm with my wife, know you know I'm crazy over you No matter what I do, all I think about is you Even when I'm with my wife, y'know I'm crazy over you (Del) You seem to have a bad case of the Del blues, you know he is bad for you cut him loose.
