it would be even funnier for me if i hadn't heard michael fish interviewed the other day, and stated categorically that there was no woman who contacted the bbc - it was something he made up as he felt it would be a nice intro into the weather. unfortunately, the caller has made it up but it is undeniably funny!

Or Michael Fish remembers telling her not to be daft and is covering his arse!
