Look Dragonborn, let's get this straight so there can be no misunderstandings. Cardiff posters can post what they like about any subject matter regarding this club. They can put forward any opinions free of the fear of internal arguments taking this forum to the wall like yours has done historically. That is very unlike your forum in the recent past.

Innocuous as it may have seemed to you, if any Cardiff supporter had posted anything remotely similar to your effort regarding our owner on your forum, the poster would have been met with a barrage of abuse bordering upon the hysteric. Thankfully that has changed for the better (much better!) this past few months with the firm control of your mods and migration of some posters to another forum.

I'm afraid the fact that you say you "don't give a **** about the history of this forum" says it all, and probably masks your naivety.

I've no wish to be pedantic on the matter, but one final point. Given the subsequent information published in the media, do you wish to retract your comments posted on this thread and the similar one on your forum blaming Tan for yet another CCFC related issue?

Most of your last post is about the Swansea forum. How is that relevant? This isn't about Swansea's forum or yours for that matter so why you feel the need to have a go at them I don't know. History of any forum is irrelevant.

I commented in an identical fashion to many of your own posters regarding your chairman yet I'm referred to as an "ill informed tosser" whilst the Cardiff fans who say exactly the same thing are part of a "broad church" of opinion. You do understand the point don't you because I'm beginning to seriously doubt that you do. As for Tan I still say that it's unlikely he didn't sanction this complaint to the FA but that's just my opinion.

Look, you're clearly sensitive about any criticism of your club and I get that but abusing visitors can't be justified even though you're doing your best to do just that.

I'm a man of my word and you're one up at St Mary's so well done. Good job if you get something there. <ok>

In the interests of cross board unity, I withdraw any aspersions I might have cast upon the integrity of Dragoborn's posts on this thread. I wish to draw a line under the matter.

The fact that we won today has helped me considerably in coming to that decision.........<laugh>

I hope we can now put that to bed and move forward in a joint effort to keep both Welsh teams in the Premier League. A win for the Swans in their final game at Sunderland could well ensure that. We should however expect no favours and may need to beat them ourselves up there two weeks before that to have any chance.

I regard the original subject matter of this thread as now dead, but would be delighted to leave the thread open for further harmonious discussion.

Oldsparkey - I cannot understand why you are so rude. You're not very welcoming here are you? Apparently you appear to only invite comments from Cardiff fans on certain threads. Sorry but it's a public forum and the good thing about this one is that it's open to supporters of other clubs. If you don't like that go and join another one.

Please don't presume what my motives are. My opinion of Tan is exactly the same as many posters who wear Blue (or red) yet their opinions are "as valid as anyone's" whilst mine are motivated by wanting to "have a go". Let's see the reaction you'd have got from Cardiff fans if you'd had called them "ill informed tossers". But you won't do that will you?

You do see the hypocrisy here I hope. Your comments are based on bias, nothing else. Had my comments been made by a Cardiff fan they're "as valid as anyone's" apparently so what's the diff?

<doh> and double <doh>

Whatever.

Good luck today. <ok>

Take no notice of the old fart Dragonborn! He's always been a grumpy old boot, he's a Porthcawl pensioner that kicks his cat when Kairdiff lose, so you can imagine the state of his moggy...........<laugh>

He's Kairdiff's very own Victor Meldrew, that's what following Kairdiff does for you............................

I bet your cat is relieved, you miserable old git!......................<laugh>

Well he didn't answer my question why an outside poster is treated with abuse whilst his own are not when they say exactly the same thing but I guess that's the closest I'm going to get to an apology. Why the abuse? No bloody need for it. Takes all sorts.

fk me your fking a boring poster dude, I never liked your old style on here either.........why isn't jackarmytwat.gov good enough for you anymore, your getting bored of yourself I suspect dilli/dreyfus/dexter/ <ok>

Thanks aber - I'd had my suspicions about that connection myself, but I'll put it on the backburner for now

Dragonborn - I've already explained it in it's entirety a few times on this thread if you'd take the time to read it. Once more for you.

All opinions (anti-Tan, anti-Malky etc) expressed by Cardiff posters on their own forum are regarded as genuinely held and remain unchallenged in that respect. They attract debate and sometimes argument, but are nontheless respected for what they are.

History on here has told us, and I realise you "don't give a ****" about it, that most visiting posters, particularly from your neck of the woods will use any negative publicity about this club to have a go for the sake of it. You were percieved in that light.

Apart from the fact you were too quick to blame Tan for this latest "revelation" by WOL, something for which you've failed to apologise, I will admit that it is more than possible that I misjudged you.

To that extent, I would prefer to leave the matter there and look forward to your valuable input over here on more happier matters concerning our club, rather than just the perceived negative ones that are all too often jumped on by visitors to this forum.

I did say I wanted to draw a line under it last evening, but as usual "Phil the smiley king" has put his 5 pennorth in stoking it back up. Did anyone know that the old tart Phil is actually older than me?.......<laugh>

So... no apology for saying I was an "ill informed tosser" then only that you "misjudged" me. You seem to be finding it quite difficult despite your admisssion of being in the wrong. Your comment that you want to "draw a line" under this reminds me of a politician's comments after he's been found in the public lavvies doing something he shouldn't. <laugh>

You come across as a rather high and mighty, rude individual who jumps on any supporter outside of Cardiff who expresses any criticism of your Club and you only want outsiders' input if it's "complementary". That's absolutely preposterous. I understand why you're a bit prickly but there is absolutely no need for abuse. If you can't man up and make an unequivocal apology without using mealy words that says more about you than me.

I'm not really Jay but I had to make the point. I don't think the guy is capable of it. I don't know about you but if I'd been abusive to a poster then realised I was wrong I'd unequivocally apologise and eat a big helping of humble pie. But that's just me.

On a forum like this you will get critical comments from supporters outside your club and I'm baffled that this individual doesn't see it like that. He's clearly saying it's OK for Cardiff supporters to criticise but not supporters of other clubs. That's just laughable.

Good result yesterday for you guys let's hope we can do something similar today.

Do NOT wish Rangers congratulations on promotion mate <laugh>

Seems I'm in a minority of one on this forum regarding the issue of being suspicious of visitor's motives when they only post on negative matters. Not saying I only want backslappers from other clubs on here at all, we need the craic, but this guy's persistance seemed vaguely familiar from the past.

As a consequence, I offer my unreserved apologies to Dragonborn for calling him an ill informed tosser.

I'll let it go then and withdraw from this thread and let Jay and the rest of you get on with it.

That is clearly NOT what he is saying. Example:

If I (a Cardiff fan) went on your board and criticised your players, I would expect a barrage of abuse going well beyond 'ill informed t****r' from a clear majority of your posters. If a Swansea fan posted the exact same thing they would get genuine responses. This is simply due to the nature of our 'neighbourhood' in that any weakness in opposing camps is seized on as an opportunity to abuse, mock and belittle.

If a Southampton fan, per se, made similar observations, it would probably not be assumed to be agressive and antagonising in quite the same way.

Not necessarily saying I agree with it, but it is nature. If you need confirmation, and I havent been there for a while, cycle through the Swansea board and look for negative comments made by Cardiff fans (and many of them genuine comments not intended as a wind up) - I am sure all the responses are mighty civilised...

On a side note, I happen to agree with your opinions on Mr Tan largely :) I am happy to make that, as a Cardiff fan, on a Cardiff forum, safe in the knowledge that I am not on a windup ;)

Spark, my comments were emphasising this is a forum and not to take things personally, nothing to do with you at all mate, or anyone for that matter <ok>

Apology accepted and I agree with Jay's comment. If I may say so I think you should be a little more tolerant of comments wherever they come from and that should apply to all forums not just this one. Provided the poster isn't deliberately winding people up or being abusive then the comments fuel the debate.

But it's hard not to take things personally when you're called an ill informed tosser when you haven't been abusive to anyone. There's another guy called Aber who was even worse and I've never even commented about him or to him.

Anyway, far more importantly there could be even more of a concertina effect in the Prem this afternoon after our result and I'd take a draw right now. Nail biting stuff.
