brb - wouldn't disagree with anything you've said there, and I have no agenda in promoting the racketeering that exists within our sport.

It is the common man's game that's been taken over to a large extent by high finance and greed. Quite how we change it is another matter.

Principles are fine, and anyone without them is not fit for this world, but there are those who see principles as the answer to problems in our materialistic world. I'm afraid there are and will be a lot of disappointed people around for some time.

There is an agenda (and it's not a hidden one either) to undermine anything Cardiff City/Tan orientated.

Are you saying that Tan who is the obvious target for you and others is at fault over this, or is it again just another stick to beat him with?

What do you think all this has got to do with Tan, or do you know something the rest of us don't?

So first of all we had this from WOL.......

http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-accuse-crystal-palace-6949788

........and because they print a picture of Tan at the head of the article, everyone jumps on the anti-Tan bandwagon.

Then we get this.........

"Owner Vincent Tan has not been involved in the internal enquiry and it was Dalman who interviewed staff individually."

Those who seem to need to find every way they can to attack Tan have been sold another dummy. Now that is what really IS "embarrassing".

Problem we have Sparkey is the Egg chasing media in Wales have never been Cardiff City friendly add to that the so called LeADerS and Sam the sham sycophants all jumping on the bandwagon.

Tan is no angel but what owner of Cardiff City has been?

It's still further adverse publicity we could well do without. All I'm saying is that it was less than helpful to have this published at this time.

Unless of course Dalman had to say something to head off leaks from another source - again. <doh>

Dai and Bluey - it really is about time some on here, let alone the anti-Tan brigade on other sites, got to grips with reality instead of sniping.

In footballing matters, Tan is an alien - he might just as well be from another planet not Malaysia. He has no idea of the importance of the club and the game in general to those who currently support it and have done for many years.

He has no empathy for fans, even those who have reluctantly accepted the current status quo, and treats those that oppose his colour change policy like an irrelevance. He is single minded about what HE wants to do, and appears not to listen to the wishes of the "common" fan.

He is however, the present owner of our club. It's quite pathetic that every published twist and turn in the current turmoil at the club is laid at his door.

Sparks - I'm all in favour of anything that is good for the club and have supported Tan for his substantial input of funds which kept us alive and progressed us to the Prem. I also eventually supported the dismissal of Moody and Malky as the facts behind these actions gradually came to light.

I have asked the Tan Out Brigade many times how they expect things to work if he walks and have never got an answer.

That does not make him immune from criticism and in this case now it is clear that Dalman made the statement I take back any implied criticism of Tan - although I would hope Dalman discussed this with him before going public.

I simply feel that a lid should have been kept on this week's "comedy" until it was determined we would make a formal complaint or, as I said, Dalman had to go public to pre-empt any other leaks. <ok>

Sniping Spark? We will all form our opinions based upon what is out there. Lot's more sideshows to go yet. Like I said earlier he has been central at alienating City fans and created a division amongst fans which will simply fester. Shame really.

This was an internal affair that should not have gone public and dealt with internally.

Agree with all that Bluey, but you can't keep a lid on something once it was leaked (by whom?).

The club cannot be faulted for then admitting it - anything else would have been a blatant lie. If there's one thing I've noticed about Tan so far, it's that the man does not lie and will not have that culture at the club.

For all his faults, deceit is not one of them.

Bobby - I am NOT a Tan supporter, just a Cardiff City supporter. <ok>

Also, how can it not go public when a representation has been made to the Prem ? Someone leaked it - do you think it was Tan?

Never said you were a Tan supporter Spark. <ok>

Unsure Spark.

Sparks - It could and should have been done without any publicity - unless wrong doing was proven and acted against. It is just another in a series of pieces of poor publicity which as we well know the media use to pour scorn on us.

Seems your argument has been blown out of the water: the club have evidence, and have sacked one person and expect more heads to roll about this - so 'wrong doing was proven and acted against'. Good.
Well done Tan and Delmet for being decisive and getting shot of traitors in the camp.

I wouldn't say my argument was "blown out of the water". Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't news of the dismissal etc come out after the original article was published and I made that comment?

Surely it would have been better pr to announce our complaint, advise there had been an internal investigation and that a dismissal etc had happened all in one go?

Unless, as I have said a couple of times, they had to get something out to head off a leak. <ok>

I run a business so know that managed pr is much better than a scattergun approach.

I agree with that last sentence Bluey, but a major problem is that any potential PR by the club is often undermined by various factions like WOL.

You have a hell of a job anticipating those that look to knock you before the event. You simply have to live with it and repair the intended damage.

"You have a hell of a job anticipating those that look to knock you before the event."

True Sparks but that's what a good pr company should do for you.

I can introduce one if needed (not my business) although any pr company worth their salt might consider running pr for the city is a challenge over and above the call of duty - particularly when VT is in full flow. That can be termed crisis management not pr.

If Tan is a target it's because he's made himself a target, and some people should stop being apologists for this man. I can understand people being irked at Moody if it did happen but whether you agree with it or not this smacks of sour grapes and is rather pathetic. Caulker has made the most valid point of all - it detracts from the fight that needs to happen on the pitch and he finds the whole thing "frustrating".

Yet again an example of Tan not thinking of the consequences when he acts.

My opinions of Tan are not shyed away. He's an idiot

WTF are you talking about? What has this episode got to do with Tan? Try reading the reported pieces before venturing your biased opinions.

You're just another opportunist visitor from down the road sticking your oar in unnecessarily when sensing an opportunity.

The club is a mess, but it's still my club.

Is it sparky. is it really your club.?? ...It has not been your club since tan took over and re branded it to his club from what many can see....
