This is absolute bollocks

Discussion in 'Indian Premier League' started by Heavy Metal Toon, Feb 24, 2011.

  1. The home game with Manchester United on Saturday, April 16 has been brought forward to kick off at 12.45pm. However, the match will be moved entirely if Sir Alex Ferguson's side reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Why the **** does our home game have to be dictated based manures cup ties?
**** off man. I'm sick of this ****. People have to plan ahead for these sorts of things, and i'm sick of wondering when our matches are actually going to be bloody played!!

Premier League games effect everyone, cup ties effect two teams. Cup ties could and should be moved to accomodate THE LEAGUE! They shouldn't be allowed to bullshit the teams that seem to be insignificant these days.

If it's for TV, then sometimes i'm a bit pissed off, but aslong as it gives enough time for preperation, i don't mind. And also it's another **** session to add to my SKY+ collection :D

However, if it's to adapt the bigger teams cup or CL games, i feel like our club is a pawn, that can be pushed around and shat on.

It's the FA Cup. It's always held priority over the league when it comes to fixtures.

Why do people whinge about fixture congestion? Are you suggesting Man U should come up to Newcastle for 12:45, and then somehow travel down to Wembley in 15 minutes to play their cup tie?

Admittedly we have too many games in this country; the League Cup should be scrapped.

Why do you take everything so personally? It's not just "our club" that's a pawn, it would be the same with anyone.

    You need anger management. Seriously.

This. Every club outside the top 4 - or top 5 + Liverpool now I guess - gets treated like crap from the FA

I'm sure it wasn't an incompetent moderator experimenting with the "Move Thread" tool or anything like that... <whistle>
