Actually the banner was a quality idea. I was impressed. Since then though, we've been promoted again and on the way we beat you easily with 10 men. The banner was very funny but the fact you are still boasting about it 20 months on shows how little you have to cheer about and how truly in our shadow you really are
Not really it shows we thought you were a bunch of crying your eyes out knobs NOTHINGS CHANGED your still crying over it 20mths. on thats why you want Wigan gone
Went to see West Ham last night and thought they were unlucky not to beat Stoke who came to time waste. Worst away folllowing I think I've seen for a Premier team as well - must have been 3 coaches worth of Stoke fans. And why does Tony Pulis dress like a chav?
What general consensus is that then? I'll tell you which one, one you've just made up. How long have you been 'supporting' West Ham because you sound like you've only just found the game. One of the beautiful things about football is teams like little old Hull City can rise from the ashes and play at the likes of Old Trafford and Anfield. Fairytale stuff for a team supported by home town followers. Proper football fans and not glory hunting Premier League cling ons. Oh and by the way where you 'belong' is determined by how good your team is, not how many cups you won fifty years ago or how many fans you used to get. Franchises with no promotion or relegation anyone? Sheeeeeet.
Pretty much everyone I talk to misses the away trips to the big clubs that's all. I would rather see Leeds and Forest in the prem than Reading and Wigan. Is that so unreasonable? I'm not saying its right or that there should be some rule brought in to make it happen, just that that would be my, and Many others preference. I have followed West Ham and been to hundreds of games over the last twenty years so I suppose I am relatively young compared to many fans but I think I am qualified to have an opinion on this. Teams are where they are on merit and no one can say Wigan don't deserve to be in the top flight because they have been superb over the last 7 years or so. But they bring about 100 fans to London away games and I think that spoils the atmosphere and enjoyment of the match.
And when Leeds and Forest are good enough to return to the top flight your wish will be granted. Could be waiting a while for one of those teams though.
My preference would be for everyone to drive an Aston Martin and pretty much everyone I talk too thinks it's a good idea. I hate the fact the roads are infested with Renaut Clio's and other substandard motor vehicles, I don't expect them all to be crushed, I'd just prefer it if I didn't have to look at the hatchback faced bastards.
Given right approach it only takes two seasons to turn a club around. Recent examples, Norwich and Southampton back to back promotions. West ham and Newcastle relegated with **** teams, bounce straight back and are now strong premiership sides again. With the right investor, not gfh, the good days may not be that far away
I've read it from day one, probably 95% of threads, and I personally blame a recent influx of dickish posters and opinions. It's just become tedious and samey, pretty much.
