Supporting QPR in Peru can be a lonely pursuit as 99.9% of the population have never heard of us, so coming on here is great for sharing a bit of love for all things Qpr!
Also, some posters have the opportunity to get on to the forum more often than others, I for instance can't log on at work. Those that do spend more time on here tend to communicate between themselves.
I normally go to this Beth, bloody good day out plus wearing a flat cap is de riguer http://www.longshawsheepdog.co.uk/dates_location
Serious question: what's it really like up north? (only ever been beyond Barnet three times in my life and only for the day)
I sure a few would volunteer to do it but they'd have second thoughts when they realise they have to get that close to my meat and 2 veg!
I guess it depends just on where 'Up North' you are. I live in a small village on edge of the Peak District and have offices in Sheffield. Pretty good gig all round. I have no M25 commute, no neighbours and I'm 10 mins from the Annual World Sheep Dog Trials. Could be a lot worse...
Moved from London myself to the South Coast last summer. Had no choice as my landlord died and the whole block was sold and couldn't afford London rents. Can't stand it here, can see an average of 9 white vans from my front room, totally monocultural and not even tory but UKIP or worse. Went to Manchester once to a demo on the train with Tony Benn RIP and the people seemed OK and to Sheffield to a film festival and it seemed very polite and friendly. Cambridge I didn't like though. That said I've spent most of my life abroad so perhaps am not the best judge of the UK. Swansea is the pits though imho, horrible place.
